Ice Cubes are thin or hollow

Possible Solutions

Do you have the correct water pressure?

Thin or hollow ice cubes are likely due to low water pressure.

Are you using a reverse-osmosis system?

Connecting a refrigerator to a reverse-osmosis system could also lower the water pressure to the refrigerator, which will result in thin ice cubes or low ice production.

If you still have questions regarding your water pressure, call a licenced, qualified plumber.
