Cosmetic Concerns

Possible Solutions

Does your Countertop Microwave Oven have cosmetic damage or is the plastic on the inside of the microwave oven door bubbling?

Cosmetic damage, such as scratches, dents, chips or other damage to the finish of your microwave, including plastic bubbling on the inside of the microwave oven door, does not affect the performance of the microwave oven.

Cosmetic damage, such as scratches, dents, chips or other damage to the finish of your microwave, unless such damage results from defects in materials or workmanship, and is reported to Whirlpool within 30 days from the date of purchase, is excluded from warranty.

If you believe your product is within 30 days of the date of purchase, please contact us at 1-866-698-2538.

If you believe your product is past 30 days of the date of purchase, service is not available for your countertop microwave.  Cosmetic damage, such as scratches, dents, chips or other damage to the finish of your microwave, including plastic bubbling on the inside of the microwave oven door, does not affect the performance of the microwave oven. The cost of replacement parts and labor for a repair are often more than the cost of a new microwave.  Use the menu above to shop for a new countertop microwave oven.
