Clothing wet at end of cycle

Possible Solutions

Is the Lint Screen clean?

Edit section

The lint screen will be located in the door opening of the dryer. A screen blocked by lint can increase drying time. It is extremely important to clean your lint screen after every use.

Is the exhaust vent or outside exhaust hood clogged with lint and restricting air movement?

Edit section

A clogged exhaust vent system slows moist air from leaving the dryer and extends drying time. Run the dryer for 5-10 minutes. Hold your hand under the outside exhaust hood to check air movement. If the air movement is less than a hair dryer on high speed, clean the lint from the entire length of the system and the exhaust hood.

Was Quick Dry or Rapid Dry selected?

Quick Dry and Rapid Dry are timed cycles designed to dry smaller loads. If clothes are too wet after the cycle has completed, try running the Quick Dry or Rapid Dry cycle again. For best performance, use an automatic cycle.

Is the dryer level?

Edit section

If the dryer is not level, clothes may not be contacting the moisture sensors during Automatic cycles. See your Use and Care Guide for leveling instructions.

Have you tried changing your Factory Dryness Level?

Edit section

You can make adjustments to your Automatic Cycles by adjusting the Factory Dryness Level:

If all your loads on all Automatic Cycles are consistently less dry or more dry than you would like, you may change the default settings to increase or decrease the default dryness level.
