Cleaning a Stainless Steel Cooktop
Cleaning your Whirlpool Stainless Steel Cooktop
IMPORTANT: Before cleaning, ensure all controls are off and the cooktop is cool. Always follow label instructions on cleaning products. Also, follow the instructions in your Owner's Manual.
Food spills containing acids, such as vinegar and tomato, should be cleaned as soon as the entire appliance is cool. These spills may affect the finish.
To avoid damage to stainless steel surfaces, do not use soap-filled scouring pads, abrasive cleaners, Cooktop cleaners, steel wool pads, gritty washcloths, or abrasive paper towels.
- Use affresh® Stainless Cleaner and a Micro-Fiber Cloth or affresh® Stainless Steel Cleaning Wipes.
- Rub in the direction of the grain to avoid damage.
Cleans even where you can't see
