How to Clean or Replace the Filters in a Whirlpool Vent Hood
Cleaning Removable Grease Filter:
IMPORTANT: Before cleaning, ensure all controls are off and the vent hood is cool. Always follow label instructions on cleaning products.
- Turn off the vent hood before removing the filter.
- Clean the filter in the sink, with warm water and detergent, or in the dishwasher.
- Replace the filter.
Non-Vented (recirculating) Filter:
The charcoal filter is not washable. It should last up to 6 months with normal use. Replace with Charcoal Filter as specified in the Owner's Manual.
