Long Cycle Time - Portable Dishwasher

Possible Solutions

A delay automatically occurs in some wash and rinse cycles until the water reaches the proper temperature.
Cycle times are sometimes three and a halfhours plus long, depending on the cycle and options selected. Review your cycle guide.
Some models are equipped with an optical sensor that adjusts the cycle time based on the water temperature, soil, and detergent amount sensed by the sensor.
When loads are very dirty or have heavy soils, the optical sensor will default to the longest cycle time available.

As part of normal operation:

The dishwasher pauses two to three times during the cycle for thermal holds (to raise the temperature) and advances once the temperature is met.
When certain cycles and/or options are selected, a longer cycle is normal.
Additional time is needed to heat the water to the proper temperature for cleaning and/or sanitizing your dishes. This may be cycle and/ or options based.
Suggestion: Before starting a load, run the hot water faucet on the sink nearest the dishwasher until the water is hot, then turn off the faucet and start the dishwasher.
