What is the Whirlpool Customer Service App?
The Whirlpool Customer Service App is an app that can be downloaded onto a mobile device for both Apple and Android devices. The app allows you to:
- View your home screen
- Register a product
- Create a profile
- Search for model-specific information such as product literature, product help articles, product help videos
- Receive notifications
- Contact us
- Schedule Service
- Order parts & accessories
Home Screen:
The Home screen is where you can find products that you have saved or registered via the app. You can come back to your home screen anytime to view your products' literature, order parts or accessories for your product or schedule service if necessary.
To Save a Product:
- Enter your model number in the search bar, a list of models will start to auto-populate as you type. Select your model from the list.
- Press the star button in the upper right corner to save a product to your Home screen.
- Now you will quickly be able to find your product when you select "Home" from the main menu.
Register a Product:
You can register a product by selecting "Register My Product" from the home menu.
From the Product Registration page, enter the product model number, serial number, and delivery date. You can also use the barcode reader buttons to scan the model/serial barcode (on some appliances) to auto-fill the model and serial number. Enter the delivery date and then click "Complete Registration" to submit your registration. Please allow 24 hours for your registration to be completed.
Create a Profile:
Creating a profile allows you to pre-fill the required information when registering products. It's the fastest, easiest way to get the most out of your product and our services.
Select "My Profile" from the menu. Fill out the information on the New Profile page. Click "Save" when finished.
Search:
Search allows you to search for model-specific information such as product literature, product help articles, and product help videos. Begin typing a model number in the search bar, a list of models will start to auto-populate as you type. Select the desired model from the list.
Notifications:
Notifications can be accessed by clicking on "Notifications" in the menu. Notifications are in the app only, not push notification you will receive on your device. Notification can include information on products, special offers from Whirlpool and much more.
Contact Us:
If you need to contact us for any reason you can press the "Contact Us" button to call us, schedule service, receive mobile app support or order parts and accessories. From the menu, click "Home" and then click on the product you need help with. If you have not saved or registered your product yet you may also enter your model number in the search bar and click "Contact Us" at the bottom of the list.
Schedule Service:
If you need to schedule service for your product, press the "Contact Us" button. From the menu, click "Home" and then click on the product you need help with. If you have not saved or registered your product yet, you may also enter your model number in the search bar and click "Contact Us" at the bottom of the list. Click "Schedule Service" to fill out information for your service call.
NOTE: When clicking Schedule Service, you will be linked out of the app and the Schedule Service web page will open on your device's browser.
Ordering Parts & Accessories
To order parts & accessories for your product, press the "Contact Us" button. From the menu, click "Home" and then click on the product you need would like to view parts and accessories for. If you have not saved or registered your product yet, you may also enter your model number in the search bar and click "Contact Us" at the bottom of the list. Click "Parts & Accessories" to launch the parts & accessories page in your mobile browser.
