Clothing Still Feels Damp at the End of the Cycle
Clothing may still feel damp due to Condensate Drying
Because the Whirlpool Washer/Dryer's Ventless dry system has nowhere to vent the moist air, your clothing may still feel slightly damp at the end of the cycle. However, try removing them and hanging them up as you normally would. In most circumstances, the moisture will condensate almost immediately and will feel dry to the touch.
Condensing Drying Technology - Longer Dry Times are Normal
Ventless drying usually takes a lot longer than vented drying. If you do want a faster cycle, try the following:
- Reduce the load size to half the drum or less
- Use "Regular" when selecting the drying cycle and "Quick" when selecting How to Dry
- Select "Extra Fast" spin speed if washing & drying
- Use Auto-Drying instead of Timed Drying and select "Damp Dry" or "Dry" instead of "Extra Dry"
