No Operation or Not Starting - Stacked Laundry Center

Possible Solutions

Was the power supply cord installed correctly (on some models)?

If your combination Washer-Dryer has an electric dryer, it may require a 240-volt power supply. Check with a qualified electrician or see the installation instructions regarding the installation of the power cord.

The power supply cord may be incorrectly installed. If the power cord is incorrectly installed, the dryer may not start or heat. Review the Installation Instructions or Video below to check that the power supply cord is properly installed.  Also, ensure the terminal screws are tight at the dryer. Unplug the dryer before checking terminal screws.

Has a household fuse blown or circuit breaker tripped?

If you have an electric dryer, it will require 2 household fuses or circuit breakers. Make sure both fuses are intact and tight, or that both circuit breakers have not tripped. You can test the breaker by turning the breaker off and then back on. Replace the fuse(s) or reset the circuit breaker(s). If the problem continues, call an electrician.

Gas dryers use 1 household fuse or circuit breaker. Make sure it is intact and tight. You can test the breaker by turning the circuit breaker off and then back on. Replace the fuse(s) or reset the circuit breaker(s). If the problem continues, call an electrician.

Did you check the washer hoses and water supply?

Check the household faucets to see if the hot and cold water household water supply lines are turned on. Make sure to open both water supply lines completely for proper fill.

Is the drain hose correctly installed?

Check drain hose for proper installation.  Use the U-shaped drain hose form on the drain hose and securely attach to drainpipe (standpipe) or tub.  Check that only 4.5" (113 mm) of drain hose is in the drainpipe (standpipe).  Do not tape over the drain opening. If the drain hose is too far inside the stand pipe, the washer will siphon out water (fill and drain at the same time).
