Vibration Feel or Sound - Stacked Laundry Center
Possible Solutions
Was the Stacked Laundry Center just installed?
If your unit was manufactured before 2018, it may have a shipping strap that needs to be removed. Check the installation instructions for your specific model.
Some Stacked Laundry Center units come from the factory with a shipping strap to hold the tub in place during shipping. This yellow strap needs to be removed before operation. See the installation instructions for your specific model.
It is important that this strap be completely removed or the unit will have vibration. Pull the yellow strap completely free from the unit. There will be 2 cotter pins on the ends of the shipping strap once removed. See installation instructions for details on removing the shipping strap.

Also check that the leveling legs have been properly installed. See leveling information in the next section.
Are the feet in place and locked (on some models)?
Front and rear feet or casters must be in firm contact with floor, and washer/dryer must be level to operate properly.
Is the Stacked Laundry Center Level?
All four feet must be in firm contact with the floor. Depending on your model (24 inch or 27 inch) you may need to adjust the rear leveling legs, or may need to install and adjust the front legs.
Check floor for flexing or sagging. If flooring is uneven, a 3/4" (19 mm) piece of plywood under your washer/dryer will reduce sound.
See installation instructions for your model to determine how the legs are installed.

Is your wash load unbalanced?
If the load is not evenly distributed in the wash basket when spinning begins, the load will create movement in the basket which will result in noise and vibration. Place the clothing in loose heaps evenly around the agitator to avoid vibration caused by an unbalanced wash load. Avoid washing single items.
