Moving or Transporting the Laundry Tower

Transporting or Moving the Stacked Laundry Center

  1. Shut off both water faucets. Disconnect and drain water inlet hoses.
  2. If the stacked laundry center is to be moved during freezing weather, follow the “Winter Storage Care” directions before moving.
  3. Disconnect the drain hose from the drain system and from the back of the washer.
  4. Unplug the power cords on the washer and dryer.
  5. Place the inlet hoses and the drain hose inside the washer basket.
  6. Bundle the power cords with a rubber band or cable tie to keep them from hanging to the ground.
  7. Make sure the leveling legs are secure in the washer base.
  8. Use tape to secure doors.

IMPORTANT: Call for service to install new transport bolts. Do not reuse transport bolts. The stacked laundry center must be transported in the upright position. To avoid structural damage to your stacked laundry center, it must be properly set up for relocation by a certified technician.
