Possible Solution
Is there anything blocking the latch?
Ensure the door latch is not blocked. Below are some everyday items that may prevent the washer from latching:
- Packing and/or shipping material
- Item or clothing
Does the lock need to be cleaned?
Verify that there is nothing blocking the door and the lock mechanism. Always clean the door area for soap build-up.
Cycle Power
If you are still experiencing concern, cycle power to the washer. Disconnect power for 30 seconds and plug back in.
