Possible Solutions
Fod or F18 is displayed:
Excessive foam formation, or suds, interrupted the program/cycle. This interruption may be repeated several times until foam is adequately reduced.
Start the Rinse & Spin program, with the Intensive Rinse option. For future use follow the detergent manufacturer’s dosing recommendations. Consider using the Dosing Aid option. Make sure the drain pump filter is clean.

Are you using HE or High Efficiency Detergent?
Use only HE or High Efficiency detergent. Always measure detergent. If you have very soft water, you may need to use less detergent. Using non-HE detergent or more than the manufacturer's recommended amount of detergent can cause excessive suds. The excess suds can cause the washer to run at a reduced spin speed, resulting in very wet loads or the appearance of error codes.

Is the drain hose kinked or clogged?
The Fod code may be the result of a restricted drain hose or standpipe (drainpipe).
Make sure that the drain hose is not kinked or clogged.
