- Removing and cleaning the filter: Release the drain tube hose and insert it into the container. Open the filter pump access panel and locate the filter. Carefully remove the filter by twisting it counterclockwise. Clean the filter under running water to remove any debris or lint. If necessary, use a soft brush to gently scrub away stubborn dirt. Make sure the filter is completely dry before reinstalling it.

- Place a large, flat container beneath the drain pump filter. Release the black hose from the clip, remove the plug, and drain water into the container. Ensure the black hose is completely dry, replace the plug, and secure the tube in the clip. If the water does not drain well, push the hose slightly to remove any possible kinks.
- Lay a towel beneath the drain pump filter to absorb any remaining water. Then, remove the drain pump filter by turning it counterclockwise.
- Remove large clumps of lint by hand. Remove the remaining residue from the filter by rinsing it with water.
- Reinsert the drain pump filter by turning it clockwise. Make sure to turn it in as far as it will go, with the filter handle remaining as close as possible to the vertical position. Ensure the drain hose is secured in the clip and tucked underneath the cutout.
