Fabric Softener Not Dispensing - Top Load Washer

Was the option selected?
Once the cycle and modifiers have been selected, cycle options can also be chosen; this includes fabric softener. If the fabric softener cycle option was not selected before the cycle was started, it will not dispense.
Select the Fabric Softener option so that the desired product is added to the load at the correct time. If the Extra Rinse option is selected, fabric softener will be dispensed into the last rinse. It is normal for a small amount of water to remain in the dispenser at the end of a cycle.
REMINDERS: Do not overfill or dilute. Overfilling dispenser will cause fabric softener to dispense into the washer immediately. Do not put fabric softener crystals into the dispenser. If Extra Rinse option is selected, fabric softener will be dispensed into the last rinse. It is normal for a small amount of water to remain in the dispenser at the end of a cycle.
