F0E5 - Error Code

Possible Solution

F0E5 - Off-Balanced Load

Load is unbalanced or too large. Check out Top Load HE Washer is Unbalanced or Overloaded for more information.

How to Correct an Out-of-Balance Load

Restoring balance in your washer is straightforward with these steps.

If the error is present:

  1. Cancel the cycle by pressing the Start button or disconnecting the power cord.
  2. Run a drain-only cycle (if water is present).
  3. Before starting a new cycle, rearrange clothing and/or remove some items to ensure the load is level and not overloaded. Suggestion: Try using the Bulky or Heavy Duty cycle.
  4. [Optional]—If the wash has been completed and you just need to extract water from your garments, you may run a Drain & Spin cycle after rearranging the load.

If the cycle can be paused:

  1. Press the Start button to pause the cycle.
  2. Open the lid and rearrange the clothing or reduce the load size.
  3. Restart the cycle by pressing the Start button.
