Possible Solutions

Your washer is off balance.

If OFb (off-balance load) appears in the display, the load is out of balance. The washer could not remedy the off-balance load via automated methods and now needs manual intervention to redistribute the load evenly around the washplate.

Try the following steps first:

  • If the OFb is flashing and the display washer has stopped, wait for the lid to unlock, redistribute the load, close the lid, and press START/PAUSE to resume the cycle.
  • Adding wet items to the washer or more water to the basket could unbalance the washer.
  • Avoid washing single items. Balance a single item, such as a rug or jeans jacket, with a few extra items, such as towels.
  • You may also experience some vibration during spinning or the washer has stopped with all dial lights flashing. Load items in loose heaps evenly around the washplate

Use the Bulky/Sheets cycle with the Deep Water Wash option for oversized, nonabsorbent items such as comforters or poly-filled jackets. Other items are inappropriate for the Bulky/Sheets cycle, with a normal choice.
