Grinding or Squeaking Noise when Opening the Lid:
- If the freezer has been recently installed, ensure the lid was properly installed. See your Installation Instructions or Owner's Manual for specific information.
- Check to make sure the lid is not rubbing against cabinets or other surfaces when opening.
- Check to make sure the freezer is level.
