Removing Glue Residue - Quad Door Refrigerator

How to Remove Glue Residue

  • Remove tape and glue residue from surfaces before turning on the refrigerator. Rub a small amount of liquid dish soap over the adhesive with your fingers. Wipe with warm water and dry.
  • Do not use sharp instruments, rubbing alcohol, flammable fluids, or abrasive cleaners to remove tape or glue. These products can damage the surface of your refrigerator.
  • Dispose of/recycle all packaging materials.

Removing the "Warm Sides" Label

  1. Slowly pull the label in a diagonal direction towards the opposite corner with a constant force using both hands.

  2. Be slow and methodical. If the corner breaks, repeat steps using another corner using slow constant force.

If some residue/label remains

  1. Apply a small amount of adhesion remover to the area. Use an absorbent cloth to catch excessive remover.

  2. Wait 1 minute to let the remover dissolve the adhesive.

  3. Repeat step #1 to gently lift the corner and peel the remainder of the label off.

  4. Rinse the area with warm water and thoroughly dry with a clean cloth.
