Not Starting or Not Operating

Possible Solutions

Is the Control Lock on?

Control lock is used to lock the washer so it cannot be run accidentally. You must unlock the controls before the unit will operate.

For new units (built in 2019 or after), to unlock the control, press and hold the Extra Rinse button (control lock is called out below it) for 3 seconds.

Is the door locked upon install?

It is possible for the washer to be unboxed and the door to be locked. In order for the washer to operate, connect to both hot and cold water supplies, and connect power.

Did you try to start the washer before connecting to the household water supply?

Both the hot and the cold water faucets or valves must be turned on and fully open. If the washer is started without water, it will stop, and you may receive an F8E1 Error code. The water supply needs to be connected and turned on before attempting to start the washer.
