Have you cleaned your dishwasher interior?
For Hand Cleaning of the dishwasher interior:
- Use a paste of powdered dishwasher detergent or liquid dishwasher detergent and water on a damp sponge.
- Make sure to clean the bottom front of the tub where soils tend to accumulate.
- Wipe down all surfaces, including the door gaskets.
Additional steps, if desired or necessary:
- Do not use detergent with this method.
- You can also run a vinegar rinse through the dishwasher by putting 2 cups (500 mL) of white vinegar in an upright glass measuring cup on the lower rack.
- Next, run the dishwasher through a complete washing cycle using an air-dry or an energy-saving dry option.
