Long Dry Times - Dryer Heating - Compact Heat Pump Dryer

Possible Solutions

Heat Pump Technology

A typical dryer uses large amounts of energy.  This dryer consumes a fraction of the energy in the form of hot, moist air. The Heat Pump dryer is a ventless dryer that uses a refrigeration system to dry and recycle the same air. The laundry is dried with low temperatures.

Lint Screen Cleaning

The lint screen is located in the door opening of the dryer. A screen blocked by lint can increase drying time.

If you use fabric softener on a regular basis, your lint screen may have residue build up that is typically not visible. This residue should be cleaned occasionally for better drying performance.

Were you drying a large load?

A large load may not allow enough air flow for the clothes to dry normally. Separate the load for better results.

Did you use an Automatic or a Timed Dry Cycle?

Use the Automatic Cycles to provide the most energy savings and enhanced fabric care from the dryer.

Use Timed Dry for the occasional damp load that needs a little more drying time or when using the drying rack.

Please note that the Timed Dry Cycle will not heat until 20 minutes into the cycle. At that time, there will be a "light" heat. This cycle is not meant for heavy loads of clothing. Use an Automatic Cycle when drying large or heavy loads.
