F8E1 Error Code

Potential Cause: Long Fill, No Fill, No Waster

The F8 E1 or Lo FL error code means your washer is not detecting the correct amount of incoming water. 

If the washer has an F8 E1 or LO FL error, the door may be locked, and the control may be unresponsive. Press the power button, and the washer will start a drain routine, which takes approximately 8 to 10 minutes, during which the pump will run continuously. The control will not accept any input during this time. 

Troubleshooting:

• Ensure the Hot and Cold water valves are fully open; both hot and cold inlet hoses must be connected for the washer to operate correctly. 
• Ensure the hoses are not kinked, which can restrict water flow.
• Ensure the hot (red) hose is connected to the hot (red) water valve and the cold (blue) hose is connected to the cold (blue) water valve. 
• The inlet screens on the washer can become clogged from mineral build-up or from capturing other debris in the water. To check the inlets: turn off the water supply, remove water supply hoses and check the screens (clean or replace as needed).

Cycle Power

Much like a computer, resetting the washer control can sometimes solve the issues you are experiencing. To reset the washer control panel, it needs to be disconnected from the power source for 5 minutes.
