Door is Locked at the End of the Wash Cycle
There are several reasons the door may still be locked after the wash cycle is complete:
- Water remaining in the tub
- Tumble Fresh™ option is on
Select Rinse & Spin to remove any water remaining in the washer. The washer door will unlock at the end of the drain.
While the Tumble Fresh™ is on, the load is tumbled periodically for up to 6 hours. The door remains locked during this time. To unlock the door, cancel the TumbleFresh™ option by touching the POWER button.
NOTE: When pressing the "Pause" button to pause a cycle, the washer may not unlock immediately. If the water level is too high, or water temperature is too hot, the washer will wait until it is okay to open the door before it unlocks.
