Your new refrigerator will probably make different sounds or noises than your previous refrigerator.
A humming noise may come from the compressor or fans as they adjust to optimize performance.
This is part of normal operation.
Is the refrigerator level?
It is important to ensure the refrigerator is level. A properly leveled refrigerator will help with its proper operation. Check to make sure the floor under the refrigerator is level. If the floor is not level, shims may need to be used to level the refrigerator properly. Please refer to your Owner's Manual or Installation Instructions for specific leveling information for your refrigerator. Learn how to use your phone to level household appliances.
Move the refrigerator to its final location.
Using your hand, rotate the brake feet counterclockwise until the rollers are off the floor, and both brake feet are snug against the floor. This keeps the refrigerator from rolling forward when opening the doors.
Use a level to ensure the refrigerator is leveled from side to side and front to back.
IMPORTANT: If you need to make further adjustments involving brake feet, you must turn both brake feet the same amount to keep the refrigerator level.
