Leaking from Behind - Freestanding Ice Maker

Possible Solutions

Is the water leaking from any of the connection points?

Check all connection points in the water supply line.  Tighten any connections including connections at the valve or nuts that leak.  Click the link below to see illustrations of the connection points.

Are all the clamps installed and secure?

Check to make sure all provided hose clamps are installed and tight.  Clamps that are not secured properly could leak and cause draining concerns.

Is the drain hose properly aligned over the drain?

Ensure the drain hose is aligned and is inserted approximately 6" into the drain pipe. If it's not properly aligned, it could cause leaking and draining issues. Move the ice maker to align the drain. See “Connecting to Water Supply" in the Owner's Manual, for specific information for your model.

Is the water supply line cracked or damaged?

If water appears to be leaking from the back of the Ice Maker, make sure that the water line from the household water supply to the refrigerator is not damaged or cracked.
